As usual, I was scrolling through one of the several lists featuring the most anticipated books of 2014, when I found this. Barely any kind of information, no cover, scant synopsis and yet it caught my eyes and tons of other people's eyes around the world. It's currently got 4.7 stars out of 151 ratings on Goodreads, which is a quite fair result, even if we take account of the fact that books generally get a better rating before publication than after. It's a curious phenomenon anyways. There are suspenseful blurbs, snippets, teasers, and beautiful covers everywhere and the reader gets really hyped, then when the book comes out a high percentage gets disappointed and gives a bad rating, and ta-da we already have rather good books running under 4. Well, different strokes for different folks, I guess. It was just an errant though, nothing important, so now let's get down to the business.

The story:
The synopsis doesn't reveal too much, yet it's catchy. There is a girl, who is fully innocent, has never done anything wrong, but it's imprisoning her and so she would like to be free. Therefore she starts looking for trouble that she finds and he's called Dusty. This name comes along a bit strangely to me. Dusty sounds like a big-headed but total lame, faux leather maniac lad, who had her ex-girlfriend give him a pet name. I hope it's not his real name just a nickname (however not a really good one, I have to say) like Patch, which sounds so much more awesome, by the way. So this guy is the typical every teachers' and gals' worst nightmare type, no homework, I mean if he shows up in class at all, always talking back, if you are in the latter category, as in gals, then you can be sure you'll be all tears in a few months, and yet he falls for Bliss. Who fall for him. And that's all we are provided with. The last sentence interesting, though
"This is what happens when a love made of secrets is kept with rules instead of promises." I imagine, it has a minor role in making people want to read it. After all who can resist an enigmatic end? It's basically shouting to you to find out what kind of secrets it's talking about, and what rules instead of promises. Wait. What promises?
I usually don't read books that are built on only and solely romance, I need something else, action, like supernatural creatures or something like that, nevertheless I believe there is more to it, and it can be pretty intriguing.
